Marking their 20 year impact on the premium denim market, EVISU used the London event in which to showcase 20 hero pieces of heritage denim through the ages, as well as a collection of art designs created following a competition set-up in collaboration with Don’t Panic where some of the city’s most renowned artists such as INSA, Pete Fowler, Jeremy Ville, Jack Teagle, and Sumit had come together to each create their own very special piece of work based on the Evisu brand ideology, ‘Make the Rules’.

To celebrate EVISU turns 20, "Make the Rules" project is rolling out globally and world-renowned contemporary artist Tomokazu Matsuyama is invited to artistically express "Make the Rules". Matzu specially created an art piece for EVISU-Kirin, he uproots the traditionally reversed icon of a mythological creature symbolizing 『prosperity', and places it amid an abstract white space, dripping in a bright contemporary acrylic color palette. Matzu for EVISU limited edition jeans will be launched in A/W12. Stay tuned!

EVISU launched the Japan Relief Program

EVISU launched its limited-run "JAPAN RELIEF" collection in Hong Kong in April 2011, where 100% of all sales will be donated to the Red Cross to help with relief efforts in the earthquake/tsunami-affected country. The collection features two main graphic designs: a Japanese paper crane and two Kanji characters that mean "the will to fight."
