The world’s first ‘pop-up’ mall, EVISU was a natural fit with the BOXPARK™ ideology. With containers that had been stripped and re-fitted, EVISU was able to create a unique space that highlights the innovation and creative intelligence behind the EVISU brand. A collection that’s intertwined with the fabric of local life, EVISU will offer collections that celebrate the history of EVISU design, creativity and its incredible journey to-date.

EVISU celebrates 20th Anniversary with celebratory exhibition party.
Marking their 20 year impact on the premium denim market, EVISU used the London event in which to showcase 20 hero pieces of heritage denim through the ages, as well as a collection of art designs created following a competition set-up in collaboration with Don’t Panic where some of the city’s most renowned artists such as INSA, Pete Fowler, Jeremy Ville, Jack Teagle, and Sumit had come together to each create their own very special piece of work based on the Evisu brand ideology, ‘Make the Rules’.

To celebrate EVISU turns 20, "Make the Rules" project is rolling out globally and world-renowned contemporary artist Tomokazu Matsuyama is invited to artistically express "Make the Rules". Matzu specially created an art piece for EVISU-Kirin, he uproots the traditionally reversed icon of a mythological creature symbolizing ăprosperity', and places it amid an abstract white space, dripping in a bright contemporary acrylic color palette. Matzu for EVISU limited edition jeans will be launched in A/W12. Stay tuned!

In celebration of our 20th Anniversary, EVISU join forces with Warr's Harley Davidson® to create a one-off classically-inspired Harley-Davidson® motorbike in May 2011; hand-built by enthused bike designer, Charlie Stockwell. Synonymous with luxurious craftsmanship and one-off design, The Evisu Warr's Harley-Davidson®Motorbike, aptly named the Kamome Sprinter, showcases a darkened harmonic combination of past vintage styles with modern functionality and celebrates the creativity and hand-made practices for which both brands are famous.

To coincide with our 20th Anniversary, We have designed an exclusive limited edition, hand-painted, commemorative jean in celebration of the Royal Wedding in Apr 2011. Expertly crafted, these exclusive hand-painted jeans combine detailed and expert craftsmanship with a brand synonymous with heritage denim.
In celebration of the mementos occasion, we have just 29 pairs available. Each pair will be expertly designed, made-to-order and will feature hand-painted patriotic Union Jack branding on one back pocket with your option of the Kamome logo painted in either gold or silver on the other. A day designed to go down in history, each pair of jeans will have the Royal Wedding date painted on the leather branded patch together with your unique, one-off serial number signalling the jeans exclusivity. EVISU launched the Japan Relief Program

EVISU launched its limited-run "JAPAN RELIEF" collection in Hong Kong in April 2011, where 100% of all sales will be donated to the Red Cross to help with relief efforts in the earthquake/tsunami-affected country. The collection features two main graphic designs: a Japanese paper crane and two Kanji characters that mean "the will to fight."
